✨This or That💰 - Comparing bronzer/highlighter (as a Glossier Employee)
Hey there!
💅🏽If you’re new to my page, welcome! I’m an employee at Glossier cosmetics and I love to review products, talk about my experience, share my day to day life, and connect with others who are as passionate about beauty as I am.
💆🏼♀️I’m a highlighter girly till the day I die. I got the Illumiglotion by L’Oréal last summer because I was tired of putting tanning drops on my face (primarily for break out reasons). I think that this product is a decent highlighter that you can quickly pick up during a target run. It doesn’t have a super thick and heavy feeling which is great and also gives my skin a nice and natural bronziness. I find that it travels well and hasn’t exploded or spilled.
👙I also really love the Skylight Highlighter by Glossier! It’s my last step in my makeup routine and gives me that nice finishing touch, whether it be a makeup look or no-makeup makeup look. I am a bit heavy handed on the highlighter/bronzer/blush when I use any of them, so it’s certainly been very enlightening to learn how much to use and how to not end up looking like a disco ball lol😂.
❤️Both products have similar coverage, have that classic bronze/highlighter feel and look, and give me just the right amount of shimmer that I so desperately crave. While similar in price by a $7 USD difference, I would definitely say that the skylight highlighter is worth it! There are about 5 different shades of skylight which may seem limited, but I feel like this highlighter is meant to be more of an intentional makeup product than a natural and skin-looking shimmer.
🎀Are you more of a blush or highlighter girl? Have you used either of these products? Let me know and let’s be sisters! 🎀
