It is necessary to visualize and focus on what each area is about without needing to take a long time to understand. Cornell Note Taking was invented by Walter Pauk, a professor at Cornell University, which has become widely used and is named the most efficient method of taking notes.

ถ้าใครกำลังค้นหา “cornell note คืออะไร” หรืออยากลอง “การจดแบบ cornell” ให้เวิร์กจริง ๆ เราขอแชร์วิธีที่เราลองแล้วใช้ได้กับทั้งเรียน/ทำงาน (จดน้อยลงแต่หยิบกลับมาอ่านแล้วเข้าใจทันที) 1) ตั้งหน้ากระดาษให้ถูก (ก่อนเริ่มฟัง/อ่าน) เราแบ่งตาม Cornell Method แบบมาตรฐานเลย: ด้านขวาเป็น Main Notes (ประมาณ 70%) ด้านซ้ายเป็น Cue/Keywords/Question (ประมาณ 30%) และด้านล่างเป็น Summary อีก 1 ช่องเล็ก ๆ ทิปเล็ก ๆ: เราชอบใส่ Title + Date ไว้ด้านบนด้วย เพราะเวลาย้อนหาในอนาคตจะรู้ทันทีว่านี่คือเรื่องอะไร เรียนวันไหน 2) ระหว่างเรียนให้จด “Main Notes” แบบจับใจความ จุดพลาดของเราตอนแรกคือจดทุกคำตามสไลด์ สุดท้ายเต็มหน้าแต่ไม่รู้ว่าอะไรสำคัญ หลังเปลี่ยนมาเขียนเป็น bullet สั้น ๆ + ย่อหน้าเล็ก ๆ จะอ่านง่ายขึ้นมาก ตัวอย่างรูปแบบที่ช่วยเรา: - นิยาม/สูตร: เขียนสั้น ๆ 1 บรรทัด - ขั้นตอน: 1-2-3 - ตัวอย่าง: ใส่ 1 เคสที่เข้าใจที่สุด - คำที่อาจลืม: วงไว้หรือขีดเส้นใต้ 3) หลังจบคลาส 5–10 นาที เติม “Cue” ทันที ส่วน Cue คือหัวใจของวิธีจดแบบ Cornell เลย เพราะมันทำให้โน้ตกลายเป็น “ชุดคำถาม” ที่ใช้ทบทวนได้จริง เราจะย้อนจาก Main Notes แล้วทำ 2 อย่างนี้: - ดึง Keywords: คำสำคัญ/หัวข้อย่อย (เช่น “ข้อดี”, “ข้อจำกัด”, “ขั้นตอนใช้งาน”) - เปลี่ยนเป็นคำถาม: เช่น “Cornell note คืออะไร?”, “ทำไมถึงช่วยจำได้นาน?”, “ขั้นตอนทำ Cornell Method มีกี่ขั้น?” พอทำแบบนี้ เวลาอ่านทวนเราจะปิดฝั่ง Main Notes แล้วไล่ตอบจากคำถามฝั่ง Cue เหมือนทำ active recall แบบไม่ต้องสร้างแฟลชการ์ดเพิ่ม 4) เขียน Summary แบบ 3–5 บรรทัด (สรุป Key Idea) เราใช้กฎง่าย ๆ คือ “ถ้าให้เล่าเรื่องนี้ให้เพื่อนฟังใน 30 วินาที จะพูดว่าอะไร” แล้วเขียนลง Summary ช่วยล็อกความเข้าใจรอบสุดท้าย และเป็นจุดที่มีค่ามากเวลามาอ่านก่อนสอบ/ก่อนประชุม 5) ทำให้เวิร์กกับชีวิตจริง: เทคนิคเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ - ใช้สีไม่เกิน 2–3 สี: สีเยอะไปจะรก เราใช้สีเดียวสำหรับหัวข้อ และอีกสีสำหรับคำเตือน/ข้อควรจำ - ใส่ Key Thoughts/ข้อสังเกตของตัวเอง: เช่น “อันนี้คล้ายบทก่อน”, “น่าจะออกสอบ”, “ใช้กับโปรเจกต์ได้” จะทำให้โน้ตมีความหมายมากกว่าการคัดลอก - ทำเป็นเทมเพลต: ถ้าจดใน iPad/Notion/Google Docs ก็ทำเป็นแม่แบบ Cornell (Title, Date, Keywords/Question, Main notes, Summary) แล้วคัดลอกใช้ทุกครั้ง จะเริ่มต้นได้ไว สรุปเลย: Cornell Note ไม่ได้แค่ “แบ่งช่องกระดาษ” แต่คือกระบวนการจด + รีวิว + ตั้งคำถาม + สรุป ที่ทำให้จำได้ยาวขึ้นจริง ถ้าเพิ่งเริ่ม แนะนำลองกับบทเรียนสั้น ๆ ก่อน 1 เรื่อง แล้วค่อยปรับสไตล์ให้เข้ามือ รับรองว่าการทบทวนจะง่ายขึ้นเยอะ
