🍄🥦🍗 Ground Turkey, Mushroom & Broccoli Bowl (with Brown Rice)

Ingredients
• 1 lb lean ground turkey (93%)
• 2–3 cups broccoli florets
• 1–2 cups sliced mushrooms (white or baby bella)
• 1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ¼–½ tsp salt
• Optional flavor boost:
• 1–2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
• Red pepper flakes
• Squeeze of lemon
For the Brown Rice
• 1 cup uncooked brown rice
• 2 cups water or low-sodium broth

How to Cook It
1️⃣ Cook the Brown Rice
• Rinse rice.
• Add rice + water to pot.
• Bring to boil, reduce to low, cover.
• Simmer 35–40 minutes.
• Fluff and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Turkey
• Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
• Add oil.
• Add ground turkey, break it up.
• Season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder.
• Cook 6–8 minutes until browned.

3️⃣ Add Mushrooms
• Add mushrooms directly to the turkey.
• Cook 4–5 minutes until they release moisture and start to brown.

4️⃣ Add Broccoli
• Add broccoli + 2–3 tbsp water.
• Cover and steam 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
• Remove lid and let extra moisture cook off.

5️⃣ Finish
• Stir in garlic (last so it doesn’t burn).
• Add soy sauce/coconut aminos if using.
• Taste and adjust seasoning.

• Scoop ½–¾ cup brown rice
• Top with turkey-veggie mix
