i finished my first korean textbook!

i've been studying Korean since end of May this year, and it's been a ROUGH ride. No joke, I've cried over studying this language.

Soooo, I figured I'd share what I use with those of you who are also trying to study Korean!

I highly recommend getting a tutor, even if it's not as often as you'd like. I highly recommend using Preply for their tutoring services. My tutor is very focused and fun to study with! He uses kdrama clips, kpop songs, and k-entertainment in general to help me learn.

If you self-study, I can say for sure that at some point you will burn out if you push yourself too hard. That's what happened to me at least. Now I just do what I can and what I can manage, keeping in mind my time, financial resource and energy.

[do not write everything down] Writing every single thing down does more harm than good. Everything presented in your textbook is not important. You only need to write the key points down! You are more likely to remember what you wrote down. And this makes it easier to understand and review later.
