Am I allowed to be ungrateful for Christmas gifts?

Every year I ONLY ask for money for my birthday and Christmas. I've learned that my family just buys me useless crap that I won't use. I hate to sound like a brat but I just ask for money so that I'll actually use it for something I want.

This Christmas, again, I asked for money. My mom and sister both gave me money and I said thank you.

My dad got me a stand for my phone, which I already have, a Polaroid printer to print out photos... which is so random. I don't print my photos at all. Idk where I'd put them?? Why would I want to print out photos?? And he got me a "learn Spanish in 60 days!" Book... I hate reading and he knows that so it's obvious that book will just collect dust in my room. And a phone stand which I already have. He gave me no money and now I just have stuff that I won't ever use. I said thank you but I know my parents just saw I wasn't enthusiastic about it. I feel bad but I'm not gonna be like "OH MY GOD THANK YOU!" to this stuff. Guys pls tell me. My sister says I sound ungrateful but I'm just saying how I feel. I'm just annoyed I ask for ONE thing so I don't complain about getting something else.

idk if this is a good comparison but like imagine asking for an iPhone and getting an android... or asking for a PlayStation and getting an Xbox yk what i mean?
