Most women struggle with PCOS because they’ve been told to do things that make their symptoms worse.
So heres a few things Id like to share if I wasnt afraid of hurting your feelings…
1. Buying more supplements won’t fix sloppy habits
2. Starving yourself all day is not “fixing your hormones”. You’re going to rebound & ruin your metabolism more.
3. Eating “healthy” doesn’t matter if you’re still under-eating or skipping meals or following the wrong protocol for your hormones. Just bc you like something doesn’t mean it likes you back.
4. Stop listening to anyone who just says eat less and move more…but sometimes, you do have to eat less of the bad crap and move more bc you’re sitting down all day.
5. If you knew what to do, you wouldn’t still be struggling….get coaching before this gets worse (we’ve had seen PCOS women forced into paying $10k-$30k into medical treatments that could have been avoided…)
We’ve also had women come to us after wasting thousands of dollars on horrible advice, gimmicks, and extreme protocols that only made their symptoms harder to manage.
Not because they didn’t try.
Not because they were lazy.
But because they were following the wrong advice.
So, pick your “mentor” wisely.
From my personal journey helping women with PCOS, I’ve seen firsthand how common misunderstandings can make symptoms worse instead of better. One major issue is focusing too much on supplements as a quick fix. Without solid lifestyle habits and tailored nutrition, supplements alone rarely deliver the lasting results you want. Many women also fall into the trap of extreme dieting or starving themselves, thinking it will balance their hormones. In reality, this often backfires by harming metabolism and triggering rebound weight gain. It’s so important to eat enough of the right foods at the right times, rather than just eating “healthy” foods inconsistently or skipping meals. Sitting for long hours and following advice like “just eat less and move more” without customizing it to your hormonal needs can be frustrating. Sometimes the key is cutting down on processed, inflammatory foods and incorporating gentle, consistent movement that supports your body. Most importantly, getting proper coaching from someone who truly understands PCOS can save you years and thousands of dollars on ineffective treatments and advice. This personalized help can guide you in choosing the right strategies, avoiding gimmicks, and building habits that actually improve your symptoms. Remember, managing PCOS is a marathon, not a sprint, and having the right support can make all the difference in feeling empowered and in control of your health.
