TEETH CLEANING DAY 🦷 🪥

... Read moreI’ve learned from personal experience that having braces requires much more frequent dental cleanings than the usual twice a year. Visiting the dental hygienist every 3 months has truly made a difference in keeping my teeth and gums healthy. Braces create many small crevices that food particles and plaque can easily hide in, making thorough cleaning at home quite challenging. The dental assistant and hygienist are skilled at removing tartar buildup and ensuring areas under and around the brackets are properly cleaned. Beyond just a cleaner smile, these regular cleanings help prevent gum disease, cavities, and bad breath, which can be more common with braces. They also allow early detection of any dental issues before they become bigger problems. If you’re currently wearing braces, or planning to get them, I highly recommend setting up a team with your dental care provider to do cleanings more frequently than the routine schedule. It’s a small time investment that pays off in healthier teeth and a more confident smile.
