3 Ways to Glow Up This Summer

You've probably heard of "hot girl summer" and "healing girl summer," but do you know what they have in common? They are both expressions of what a glow up from the inside out can feel like! Wherever you are in your journey, here are some wellness tips to glow up this summer.

01. Spend Time Alone

Summer can be a perfect time to spend with family and friends. School is out and vacation days are being used, but don't forget to prioritize yourself during this time. Our relationships thrive most when we foster a healthy relationship with ourself. Since I live close to the beach, I like to spend time by the water at least once a week. Being near nature and allowing myself time to meditate helps with my mental health.

02. Read More

Whether it's by the beach, at a park, or nestled in your living room, bring a book wherever you go! It's a nice habit to have and can encourage you to read more throughout the day. Reading helps to keep your mind active and reduce stress.

03. Journal

I keep a pocket notebook in my bag whenever I want to remember something or put my thoughts to paper. Journaling can be a cathartic and relaxing activity for self reflection and self-growth.
