• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• Splash of balsamic vinegar
• Splash of Worcestershire sauce
• 1 container whipped cream cheese (8 oz)
• 1 container sour cream (8 oz)
• ½–¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt & black pepper, to taste
• Optional: pinch of garlic powder or thyme
Instructions
1. Caramelize onions:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onions and a pinch of salt. Cook slowly, stirring often, until deeply golden and jammy (30–40 minutes).

In a bowl, combine whipped cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, pepper, and any optional seasonings until smooth.
4. Combine:
Fold the hot onion mixture into the creamy base until fully incorporated.
5. Bake:
Transfer to an oven-safe dish. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes, until warm and slightly bubbly.
6. Serve:
Let rest 5 minutes. Serve warm with chips, crostini, pretzels, or veggies.
