Personally I’m sticking to the horses, I decided not to go pro in the kickballing 🤷🏻♀️
Throughout my sports journey, I've often found myself drawn more towards the discipline and tradition that come with horse-related activities. Unlike kickball, which is fast-paced and team-oriented in a different way, horse riding and training require a unique bond between the rider and the animal. It's not just a sport but also a lifestyle that demands patience, dedication, and a deep understanding of equestrian care. The images titled 'Futurity Train' and 'Futurity Trainers v. Kickball' echo the contrast between emerging training methods in horse-related sports and the more casual team-play of kickball. Futurity events often showcase top young horses being rigorously trained, representing a serious commitment that parallels professional sports but with an added connection to animal care. From my experience, the decision to not go pro in kickball was influenced by my passion for horses and the joy I find in working alongside them. While kickball is enjoyable and energetic, I appreciate the calmer, more personal challenge that horses present. This unique partnership enriches my sporting life far beyond what team sports alone can offer. Choosing to stick with horses has allowed me to explore not just physical skills but also responsibilities such as training, grooming, and understanding equine behavior—all crucial for success in equestrian sports. So for anyone deciding between kickball and horse-related activities, consider what kind of connection and commitment you are looking for in your sport.
