2 Weeks in Spain = Career Milestone at 25
I just spent two weeks in Europe for free—because of my job😍
At 25, I never thought I’d be sent across the world to represent my company alone at a global trade show. I’m less than a year into my first full-time marketing role, and this was the most career-defining moment I’ve had yet.
Here’s what the experience taught me:
• I don’t need decades of experience to contribute.
• I understand more than I thought. For the first few months, I felt like I didn’t fully get what my company did, but this experience has helped me gain a better understanding on my own.
• It’s okay to feel imposter syndrome—and still show up confidently. This trip made me realize that I’ve earned my place. I try to remember that I was hired for a reason!!
Between business meetings, I also got to explore Barcelona , enjoy incredible food, shop my heart out, and wear cute outfits while walking everywhere (shoutout to the white sneakers that got me through it all).
