Help me manage my $1Million work budget!

Annual budget planning: the least favorite part of my job.

My marketing budget is around $1 Million and it stresses me out! It’s wild how fast that number starts shrinking once I plug everything in 😅

Between events, content, and samples, it disappears fast.

This is only my second time doing this, but it really doesn't make sense in my head. It is so hard for me to know all of our/my expenses since I am not the person that keeps track of them all or has access to see what expenses go in what section of our budget template.

Money math/budgeting has absolutely never been a strong skill of mine and I desperately want to make this easier!

If you are in charge of building a budget for your job, please help! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫? 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐞𝐭𝐜. 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐲?

I use a spreadsheet, but I’m wondering if there’s something better out there since it literally does not add up or match what I have to turn in.

What helps you keep track without losing your mind? 👀
