I fell in love with you so easily because it just felt right like it was to be,

I fell in love with you so easily because it just felt right like it was to be, being with you and around you felt peaceful and as if I was at home 🏠 with the love of my life.

It hasn’t been an easy ride but I stayed because I believed In you, I stayed even when you finally opened up to me and I did the same for you.

For a little while I thought things had brought us closer together but I didn’t realize that there had so much buried pain and more that you were still trying to fight demons you couldn’t let go of and I could never understand and figure out why you would do certain things and where it was all coming from the closer we were getting together.

I never realized how scared you were of falling in love with me, I didn’t know that the stronger our love got that it was scaring you away too at the same time.

I wish to god you weren’t as damaged as you are because I fell in love you with the purest of hearts and now I have live with the loss of you all because of your pain and the demons you keep fighting.

I’m sorry I had to leave but it wasn’t supposed to be permanent just temporary to get you to see that you hurt me also in the process of me wanting to help you heal from what broke you.

I wish our love for each other was enough to keep you here with me. ❤️‍🩹💔🥺😢😭

... Read moreFrom my own experience, love can often feel effortless at the start, much like this story where falling in love seemed perfectly natural and peaceful—as if coming home. However, sustaining that love can be a daunting challenge when one partner is battling unseen emotional struggles or "demons." What resonated strongly with me in this story is the recognition of buried pain and the fear of intimacy, which can create tension even when love is profound. It’s common for people with emotional wounds to push others away unintentionally, fearful of vulnerability and the risk of being hurt again. I’ve seen how understanding and patience play a crucial role, yet sometimes love alone isn’t enough to heal deep scars. The decision to step away temporarily, as shared here, is a painful but sometimes necessary step to allow space for self-reflection and healing. It reminded me that loving someone with such complexity requires both compassion and boundaries. The hope is that time apart can help both partners see the impact of their actions and begin healing, individually and together. If you’re reading this and find yourself in a similar situation—loving someone who is struggling—remember to also care for your own emotional well-being. Supporting a loved one through their battles is courageous, but don’t forget that your own peace and happiness matter too. Love is beautiful and powerful, but it is also a journey filled with learning, growth, and sometimes tough choices. Ultimately, this story captures the bittersweet reality that love involves not just joy but also pain, courage, and hope for healing. It’s a reminder that sometimes, true love means knowing when to hold on and when to let go, trusting that healing comes in many forms and timing.
