fruit hack?

Good morning ☀️Happy Tuesday! I started off my morning today by washing all my fruit i got last night. I would’ve done it last night, but we got home kind of late & i started cutting and storing the meats. This doesn’t take too much time & it lasts longer in the fridge in my opinion. 🩷 Give it a try & let me know if it works for you! 😇 #storingfruit #fridgeorganization #fridgerestock #fruitwashing #foryou

Start by rinsing your fruits thoroughly to remove any pesticides or dirt, then drying them off properly. According to recent insights, storing fruits in airtight containers helps them stay fresh longer. For instance, blueberries can last up to two weeks when stored this way. Make it a habit to wash your fruits immediately after purchasing them and dry them before storing to avoid moisture buildup, which can lead to mold. Additionally, don't forget about the fridge organization; arranging your fruits wisely can also help. Storing potentially ethylene-producing fruits like apples away from sensitive ones like bananas can prevent premature spoilage. Implementing these fruit hacks will not only enhance the taste of your fruits but will also ensure that you enjoy their nutritional benefits for a longer period.
