Why not give NC a raise?

Additionally, investing in teachers reflects a commitment to providing a sound, basic education for all. Budget allocations must prioritize teacher pay as part of a broader educational strategy. This includes considering assembly discussions and general teacher support plans that emphasize passing a workable budget with teacher raises as a cornerstone. From personal observations at local school meetings, teacher morale visibly improves when there’s recognition of their hard work through increased pay.
