Omgg I just finished this book yesterday and I can’t stop thinking about it 🥲 I didn’t know much about the AIDs Epidemic in Chicago until reading this and now my heart hurts so much for the people that were affected. Makkai did a great job creating these stories and keeping the reader engaged! She makes you feel so many emotions for each of the characters and the situations they go through. Definitely a good read if you like books that pull at your emotions!
