Me not prioritizing upper body doesn't mean I don't train it lol

6/21 Edited to

... Read moreMany people assume that if you focus heavily on one area of your body, like the lower body, you must be neglecting others such as the upper body. However, this is a misconception that I’ve personally encountered in my fitness journey. For example, even if I prioritize lower body exercises, I still make sure to include upper body training to maintain overall strength and balance. From experience, incorporating a balanced workout plan that doesn’t overlook any muscle group is essential for long-term fitness and injury prevention. While leg days are often intense and demanding, combining them with targeted upper body workouts, such as push-ups, pull-ups, or light weightlifting, helps enhance muscle symmetry and functional strength. Additionally, focusing on compound movements that engage multiple muscle groups can maximize your workout efficiency. Squats, deadlifts, and lunges mainly target the lower body but also require upper body stability and strength. This integration ensures that even when prioritizing lower body, upper body muscles are indirectly engaged. Having experienced this balance myself, I recommend everyone to listen to their body and create a routine that suits their fitness goals while avoiding over-focusing on one area. This helps maintain motivation and promotes a more aesthetically pleasing and healthy physique overall. Remember, training smarter means balancing priorities and not just focusing on one muscle group because variety benefits your body and mind.

And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll take the passport stamps over name-brand labels every single time! I'm not trying to impress strangers at the airport or show up flashy on Instagram - I want to live life wide open. See the world with my kids. Eat food in places I can
