Building my physical library!

6/22 Edited to

... Read moreBuilding a physical library has been a rewarding journey for me, especially when finding quality books at great prices. Ollie’s and BJ’s have become go-to stores where I consistently find fantastic selections without breaking the bank. I love browsing Ollie’s paperback section where prices typically range between $2.99 and $3.99, which is perfect for adding multiple titles in one visit. One of the exciting parts of collecting physical books is hunting for popular and bestselling authors. For instance, I picked up novels by Lisa Jewell, Riley Sager, and Lisa Unger, all of whom are celebrated for their gripping storytelling. These authors’ books often have collector’s or special editions, which add charm to any shelf. At BJ’s, the prices are still reasonable for hardbacks, usually priced around $4.99, making it easier to own hardcover versions without overspending. I also pay attention to book clubs and online communities such as Lemon8 Book Club, BookTok, and BookFinds. They feature amazing recommendations and alert me to trending reads. The hashtags and forums are helpful to stay connected with fellow readers and discover hidden gems. If you’re looking to grow your physical library, I recommend planning your purchases around sales, checking multiple sources, and prioritizing authors or genres you love. Building a personal library isn’t just about the books themselves—it’s about creating a space filled with stories and knowledge that you can treasure for years. Remember, lower-priced paperbacks or discounted hardbacks from stores like Ollie’s and BJ’s are excellent ways to start or replenish your collection without stress. Happy reading and happy collecting!
