Literally open your eyes why are we the most hated & targeted oh ok but those who have the eyes will see! #fy #power #yahweh #indingenous
The experience of being among indigenous communities today often includes facing systemic challenges that have been ingrained for generations. These challenges aren't just historical footnotes but ongoing realities that affect daily life, opportunities, and safety. When I talk about the system intended to destroy indigenous people, I refer to policies and societal structures that have marginalized these communities through forced displacement, cultural erasure, and economic disadvantages. This is seen in many ways—from limited access to quality education and healthcare to the underrepresentation in government and media. One of the most telling signs of this targeting is how indigenous voices are often dismissed or misunderstood when raising these issues, leading to isolation and frustration. Many who observe these patterns may express disbelief or confusion, as captured in the phrase, "How people look at you when you tell them the whole system was meant to destroy indigenous people." However, those who truly see beyond surface narratives recognize the resilience and strength within indigenous cultures. Reclaiming identity, language, and traditions serves as a powerful counter to those destructive systems. It’s important to open eyes to these realities—not just as a call for justice but as a means to build a more inclusive and respectful society. Empowerment comes through education, honest conversations, and supporting indigenous-led initiatives that promote healing and cultural preservation. Engaging with this topic has deepened my understanding of systemic inequities and inspired me to advocate for change that respects indigenous rights and perspectives. I encourage others to listen closely, learn from indigenous voices, and work collectively to dismantle harmful systems while celebrating the vibrant power and heritage of these communities.
