Losing weight is the hardest thing to do and this has been the hardest year for me when it comes to my body. So I’m holding myself accountable and documenting my progress! Come with me on this journey! #weightloss #ketodiet #ketoforbeginnners #blackgirlgym
Embarking on a weight loss journey can be incredibly challenging, especially when it's your hardest year yet for your body. One thing I've learned is that consistency and accountability are key to making real progress. For me, the keto diet has been a game changer—focusing on low-carb, high-fat meals helped me control cravings and boost energy throughout the day. In addition to dietary changes, incorporating regular exercise played a crucial role in my results. Walking 5 miles a day for several days and visiting the gym multiple times a week helped to increase my metabolism and improve my physical endurance. Tracking my weight—starting April 20, 2026—and gym visits gave me a clear picture of my progress; for example, I was 181 lbs as of April 24, 2026. Another helpful tip I've found is to break down big goals into smaller, achievable milestones, like scheduling weekly gym sessions or focusing on meal prepping keto-friendly recipes. This approach helps maintain motivation and prevents burnout. If you’re on a similar path, don’t underestimate the power of community—engaging with fitness groups such as #blackgirlgym or keto forums can provide support and inspiration. Remember, losing weight isn’t just about the number on the scale but about building healthy habits that sustain your overall well-being. Celebrate small wins, stay patient through plateaus, and keep your eyes on the long-term goal. Documenting your journey, as I do, is a great way to stay accountable and motivated. Let’s keep pushing forward together!
