Ramen… or muruku? 🍜😂
Tokyo’s viral RAMEN CLUB snack has landed in Singapore with Sapporo Miso and Tokyo Shoyu flavours. Honestly, it tastes like a ramen-flavoured muruku, but strangely addictive like Mamee noodle snack. I just wish there were more toppings inside each pack. 🥲
S$19 for a box of 5.
Pop-up at Orchard Central 18 May till 7 June 2026
Don’t say BOJIO.
When I first tried the RAMEN CLUB snack, I was surprised by how it closely resembled muruku, a traditional crunchy snack popular in parts of Asia, yet it boasted delightful ramen-inspired flavours. The Sapporo Miso variant stood out to me with its sweet corn and rich miso notes, complementing each other in a way that enhanced the overall taste experience. The Tokyo Shoyu offered a savory soy sauce-based profile that was pleasantly balanced. What I found particularly interesting was the inclusion of real ramen toppings, although in small quantities, like tiny pork pieces and seaweed flakes. This little touch raised the snack's authenticity but left me wishing for more generous portions to make it feel more fulfilling. The crunchy noodle texture reminded me of popular noodle snacks like Mamee, which adds to the addictive quality. For those curious about availability, the pop-up at Orchard Central is a great opportunity to try these unique snacks firsthand. At S$19 for a box of five individual packs, it's a decent price to explore new flavours without committing to a large quantity. If you're a fan of ramen or enjoy exploring regional snacks with a twist, this is definitely worth a try. The packaging is also quite attractive, making it an excellent gift or sharing option for fellow foodies. Just a heads-up: don’t miss out during the short pop-up period, and definitely don’t say BOJIO!
