Ok folks we are going to try this again today! I apologize for opening late yesterday. Our strap came loose on our grill and it hit the floor pulling out some wires. I searched everywhere and could not find the replacement part so we have a temporary smaller grill while we wait for the part to be delivered 😁
Soooo we will be at Coalfield Crossroads Food Truck Park today from 1230 until 7. Stop by and grab you a mouthwatering burger or polish sausage with grilled peppers and onions and of course funnel cakes and deep fried treats😁🎅🏼🤶🌲😁
... Read moreOkay, so I finally got to try SweetCheeksGrill at Coalfield Crossroads Food Truck Park today, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I saw their post about a little grill mishap, but seriously, you wouldn't even know it. The food was absolutely on point, and I'm so glad I stopped by. Let's talk menu, because I know that's what everyone's looking for when they hit up a food truck park. First off, the burgers! Oh my goodness. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served on a fresh bun. It's that classic, satisfying burger experience we all crave. I usually go for a simple cheeseburger, but they offer toppings like crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, fresh onion, and tangy pickles. You can definitely customize it to your heart's content, making it your perfect bite.
Then there's the polish sausage with grilled peppers and onions. This was a revelation! The sausage itself was plump and flavorful, with that perfect snap. And those grilled peppers and onions? Sweet, smoky, and caramelized just right, they melt in your mouth. It adds such a fantastic dimension to the sausage, transforming it into a truly hearty and filling option that feels gourmet.
Now, for the sweet stuff, because you can't leave a food truck without something sweet, right? Their funnel cakes are spot-on – crispy edges, fluffy inside, generously dusted with powdered sugar. Pure carnival magic in every bite, they bring back all the best fair memories. But what really caught my eye, and what I ended up trying, were the Deep Fried Apples! I saw them mentioned on Lemon8 and had to give them a go. They are incredible. Warm, tender apple slices encased in a light, sweet batter, fried to golden perfection. They're like a mini apple pie without the crust hassle, and seriously addictive. They also have other "deep fried treats," which I'm excited to explore next time—I bet they're equally delicious.
The team at SweetCheeksGrill was super friendly, even with their temporary setup. They were at Coalfield Crossroads from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM today, and it's definitely a place to keep an eye on for a delicious lunch or early dinner. If you're wondering about the Coalfield Crossroads food menu, SweetCheeksGrill is a must-try. Their dedication to serving up mouthwatering food, even with a little hiccup, really shines through.
