So I found a place to go chilly, not a cafe.

Outside, parking in the sun is a lot of dust.
When you enter the building, it is quiet, airy.
There's a space to sit down and talk to art.

We like some techniques very thoroughly.
Some of them are colorful. Pop art. Come on.

ถ้าใครเสิร์ชคำว่า “หอศิลป์เชียงใหม่” แล้วอยากได้ที่ไปแบบไม่ต้องปีนดอย ไม่ต้องนั่งคาเฟ่อย่างเดียว เราว่า Weave Artisan Society แถวถนนวัวลายเป็นตัวเลือกที่ตอบโจทย์มาก (ยิ่งวันไหนฝุ่นเยอะๆ อยากหาที่อยู่ในอาคารโล่งๆ สบายๆ) ประสบการณ์ของเราเริ่มจากข้างนอกจะรู้สึกแดดกับฝุ่นนิดนึง แต่พอเข้าตัวอาคารคือบรรยากาศเปลี่ยนเลย—เพดานสูง โปร่ง เงียบ เดินได้เรื่อยๆ แบบไม่อึดอัด เหมือนพื้นที่ถูกออกแบบให้ “คนได้ใช้เวลากับงาน” จริงๆ ไม่ใช่แค่แวะถ่ายรูปแล้วไปต่อ ที่ชอบคือมีเก้าอี้/มุมให้นั่งแทบทุกโซน นั่งพักแล้วค่อยเดินดูต่อได้ ไม่ต้องรีบ เรื่องงานที่จัดแสดง เราว่าสนุกตรงที่มีทั้งศิลปินไทยและต่างชาติ โทนงานหลากหลายมาก ตั้งแต่งานภาพพิมพ์สีจัดๆ ไปจนถึงงานโทนเข้มที่ดูแล้วต้องยืนมองนานๆ บางส่วนมีงานสิ่งทอ (textile art) แขวนขนาดใหญ่ รายละเอียดใกล้ๆ คือทำดีมาก และยังมีงานประติมากรรมเซรามิก/ชิ้นงานสามมิติให้เดินวนดูรอบๆ ได้ด้วย ถ้าใครชอบดูความต่างของสไตล์งานแต่ละประเทศ ที่นี่ทำให้เราได้ลองสังเกต “ลายมือ” ของศิลปินแบบเพลินๆ อีกอย่างที่หลายคนอาจไม่รู้คือในตึกมีมากกว่าห้องจัดแสดง: มีคาเฟ่ในอาคารให้พักเติมพลัง และด้านหลังมีโซนช็อกโกแลตบาร์/โรงงานเล็กๆ ที่บางช่วงจะมีให้ชิม ชม ช้อป รวมถึงเวิร์กช็อปด้วย (รอบนี้เราอิ่มเลยไม่ได้ลอง แต่เห็นป้ายแล้วน่าแวะมาก) ทิปเล็กๆ สำหรับมือใหม่ไป “หอศิลป์เชียงใหม่” แบบนี้: ลองเผื่อเวลาอย่างน้อย 1–2 ชั่วโมง จะเดินสบายกว่า, แต่งตัวสบายๆ รองเท้าดีๆ เพราะเดินหลายโซน, และถ้าขับรถมา ที่นี่มีที่จอดฟรีแต่ไม่ได้เยอะมาก—มาไวหน่อยจะชัวร์กว่า ส่วนเวลาเปิดปิดกับนิทรรศการที่จัด แนะนำเสิร์ชชื่อสถานที่ก่อนไปอีกที เพราะงานจะหมุนเวียนเปลี่ยนเรื่อยๆ โดยรวมเป็นที่ที่เราอยู่ได้ทั้งวันจริงๆ ทั้งเดินดูงาน นั่งพัก มองคนเสพอาร์ต และได้ฟีลหอศิลป์ใจกลางเชียงใหม่แบบชิลๆ ใครกำลังหา “หอศิลป์เชียงใหม่” ที่ไปง่ายในเมือง ลองปัก Weave Artisan Society ไว้เลย
