My true inner self EGO - j-hope

The EGO music that I listened to wanted to dance with a fun rhythm. After looking at the lyrics, it really increased the power in us.

Before the story, the word "EGO" in BTS's Map of the Soul was influenced by Carl Gustav Jung's idea.

Swiss psychoanalyst, in which in Jung's theory the human mind is divided into several parts, such as Persona, Shadow, Ego, Self.

Each part has a different function in "knowing and accepting yourself."

Ego in this song does not mean selfishness, but "the self that realizes and accepts everything that is us."

"Look ahead, the way is shining, keep going now."

Look forward. The path is still there. Keep going.

Every time we look back, we can only see things that aren't good enough.

But if we look ahead, we will always see a small light waiting for us.

This path may not be easy, but every step is "our own way."

"Just trust myself."

Just believe in yourself.

Believe in yourself that we can handle things.

For good or bad, because we've been through so much.

"Now I don't care. It's all choices by my fate, so we're here."

Now I'm not worried. Everything is fate's choice, and that makes me stand here.

Everything that ever happened, whether it was a mistake or a success, brought us to the "present."

Nothing is wasted, because every story is a piece that makes up ourselves.

"The way I trust, the way I go, became my fate, became my core."

The path I believe in and the way I choose...Become fate and become who I am.

Confidence is not infallibility at all, but "walk on" even when we fall.

The more we believe in our own way, the more we will know our own heart.

"Hard it was, sad it was, still reassured and made me know myself."

It's hard. It's sad, but it makes me understand myself even more.

Because pain is the best teacher.

It leads us to learn, "Who are we?"

And what's really valuable in our lives?

"Map of the Soul, map of them all - that's my ego."

The whole path of my life is the map of my own soul. That is "my true self."

Every experience is a different pin on the life map.

No path is wasted.

Because every line brings us to "our true self."

There are some truths that will never change, and time will always move on.

There is no "if" or "but."

Life doesn't go back. We only have "now."

All you can do is accept, let go.

And trust that everything that happens is the path we need to grow.
