Are houses with no air conditioning that bad?
I’m looking to move to South California pretty soon, and while looking for a place to live I have noticed a lot of homes that have no air conditioning and no window units.
Imagine living in a house or condo with no AC would be literal torture, so the prospect of no AC surprises me and I don't know what to expect. I’m usually most comfortable keeping my place between 70-72.
What might a house with no air conditioning be like down there if it were to be 85-95 outside? To me it seems like fans only help so much, and people who live in houses with no AC must be comfortable with an ambient 78-80 degrees in their home.
