I need them piles to sit for like 2 weeks before I get to it 😫🥴🫣😂 #laundry #yuck 🧺

1/25 Edited to

... Read moreLaundry can quickly become overwhelming, especially when piles sit unattended for days or even weeks. From personal experience, I've noticed that letting laundry pile up can make the task feel more daunting than it really is. For instance, by the time you reach load 3, not only do you have multiple washing cycles to manage, but folding all those clothes becomes a marathon in itself. One way to tackle this is by breaking the laundry into manageable loads over a few days. Instead of trying to do everything at once, dedicating time to wash and fold a couple of loads each day can significantly reduce stress. I’ve found that setting small goals like folding immediately after drying each load helps to prevent the intimidating 'three loads to fold' scenario. Another tip is to organize your laundry area in a way that makes the folding process more inviting – using baskets labeled for each family member or type of clothing can streamline sorting. Playing music or a favorite podcast can also make the chore feel less like a burden. Ultimately, acknowledging that laundry is a recurring task and approach it with a routine helps in maintaining consistency. Even if some piles linger a bit, having a system in place turns the overwhelming mountain of clothes into manageable steps, making post-laundry dread a thing of the past.
