Peek into my fitness journey results✨
🩷 My Story: I have struggled with my weight and my relationship with my body for as long as I can remember. Living with body dysmorphia means my mind doesn't always see reality, making the journey toward self-acceptance an uphill battle. To combat this and honor my progress, I now take daily pictures. They serve as tangible proof of my hard work, my resilience, and the reality of my body.
🩷 How I Felt: For a long time, I felt disconnected, frustrated, and deeply critical of myself. Body dysmorphia can feel isolating and exhausting because it distorts how you view your own reflection. However, consciously choosing to document my journey has shifted those feelings. I am beginning to feel a sense of pride, grounding, and compassion for the body that carries me through life.
🩷 My Takeaways: I am learning that self-love isn't a final destination where I suddenly become perfect; it is a daily practice. I am teaching myself how to be kind to my body at all versions of me, not just the "idealized" ones. My body is incredibly hardworking, and it deserves my grace and gratitude at every single stage of this journey. #bodytransformationinprogress
