Microwave this mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until the window fogs up, then let it sit closed for an additional 2 minutes. This steam loosens grime and food residue inside the microwave, making it much easier to wipe clean with a damp cloth or paper towel. I've found this approach not only cleans effectively but also helps eliminate strong cooking smells, leaving the microwave smelling fresh. Plus, it avoids harsh chemicals, making it a safe option for households with kids and pets. For tougher stains, you can repeat the process or gently scrub with a soft sponge after steaming.
