How To Make Easter Eggs
Here’s how to dye Easter eggs at home.
1. Hard boil your eggs first and let them cool completely. Warm eggs crack in the dye.
2. Mix one cup hot water, one tablespoon white vinegar, and 10-20 drops of food coloring per color.
3. Lower eggs in gently with a spoon. The longer they sit, the deeper the color — 5 minutes for pastel, 10+ for bold.
4. Let them dry completely on a rack before handling. Paper towels leave marks.
5. Rub a tiny bit of vegetable oil on the finished egg for shine.
The cracks are part of it.
