Shiny Camerupt WITHOUT using Herba Mystica!✨✨✨
Here’s how to find shiny Camerupt in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet WITHOUT using Herba Mystica!🤩 #pokemoncommunity #shinypokemon #pokemon #camerupt #charmsquad
Hey fellow trainers! I wanted to share a bit more about my journey to catching that gorgeous Shiny Camerupt in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. While the initial article gives you the basic idea, there's so much more to dive into to make your shiny hunt a success, especially if you're like me and want to save those precious Herba Mystica for other hunts! First off, finding Camerupt itself in Paldea is usually in the East Province (Area Three) or the fiery parts of the North Province, often near volcanoes or arid, rocky areas. I've had good luck checking around the Great Crater of Paldea's outer rim too. When you’re looking for a shiny, knowing the common spawn points is key. Keep an eye out for mass outbreaks of Numel or Camerupt – these are golden opportunities because they drastically increase your shiny odds! Now, about boosting those odds without Herba Mystica. This is where sandwiches become your best friend, just like the OCR mentioned "Create your own sandwich" to make "A Tasty bayls Original" for your hunt! Even without Sparkling Power from Herba Mystica, you can still craft sandwiches that give you Encounter Power Lv. 3 for Fire or Ground types. For example, a simple recipe with tomato, onion, green bell pepper, and chorizo (or other type-specific ingredients) often grants a huge boost to encounter rates for specific types. This makes a massive difference in how many Camerupt you see on screen, improving your chances of spotting a shiny. I always make sure I have the right sandwich effects active before I start my hunt; it's a game-changer! Another tip I swear by for shiny hunting in Scarlet and Violet is the Picnic Reset method. If you're in a good spawn area and don't see your shiny after clearing out some Pokémon, simply set up and then close a picnic. This despawns and respawns Pokémon in the area, allowing you to quickly cycle through new encounters without having to leave and re-enter the zone. It saves so much time! Beyond just finding a shiny, let's talk about Camerupt's potential in battle. When I caught my shiny, I immediately thought about its competitive viability. Camerupt has two main abilities that stand out: Magma Armor (which prevents freezing) and Solid Rock. Solid Rock is often preferred as it reduces the damage taken from super-effective attacks by 25%. This makes Camerupt surprisingly tanky against common weaknesses like Water and Ground. For its nature, if you're planning to use Camerupt in a Trick Room team, a Quiet nature is fantastic as it boosts Special Attack while lowering Speed (which is a good thing under Trick Room). If you're not running Trick Room and just want a powerful special attacker, Modest is the way to go, boosting Special Attack at the cost of its already low Attack stat. Mine ended up being Modest, and it hits like a truck! And for those wondering about Shiny Camerupt in Pokémon GO, yes, it's also available there! I've seen friends catch them during specific events or even from evolving a shiny Numel. Its black body and blue humps are just as striking in GO as they are in the mainline games. It's a fantastic addition to any collection, whether you're playing on console or mobile. I hope these extra tips help you on your own shiny hunting adventures. Happy hunting, trainers!
