We talk about the upcoming iOS 26 update, which is bringing new features to help protect against spam calls and texts. The Call Screening feature will automatically answer unknown callers and let you decide if it's worth your time. The Messages app will also detect spam and require approval for unknown numbers. The Hold Assist feature will wait on hold for you and notify you when a real person is ready, saving you from wasting time with scammers or listening to elevator music.
