Cortisol is the body’s primary stress hormone. When it’s out of control, it keeps you stuck in “fight or flight,” leaving your body overwhelmed and out of sync. High cortisol pumps excess glucose into your bloodstream, which leads to weight gain, exhaustion, and so much more.

Here are 5 signs your cortisol may be too high:

Nutrition also plays a big role; avoid excessive sugar and processed foods, and focus on a balanced diet rich in whole foods. 🍑 How to fix gluteal imbalances? Use a resistance band on the weaker side ONLY. You can do 2-3 sets of 12 repetitions of single leg reverse hypers up to 5 times per week prior to each training session. I always recommend training glutes 2-3 times per week with enough rest in between each session.
