because that was me.

for so long I thought I just had to try harder.

eat less.

work out more.

be more consistent.

so I did all of it.

and I still woke up puffy every single morning.

still couldn’t sleep through the night.

still exhausted before the day even started.

still carrying weight in my face and belly that wouldn’t budge no matter what I did.

and every doctor I saw told me my labs were normal.

but I knew my body.

and this was not normal.

here’s what nobody told me.

you can eat perfectly and still be inflamed.

you can work out every single day and still hold onto fat.

you can get eight hours of sleep and still wake up exhausted.

because if your cortisol is out of control none of it matters.

your body is stuck in survival mode.

and in survival mode your body holds onto everything.

this is the thing that changed everything for me.

not another diet.

not another workout plan.

actually addressing the root cause.

if you’ve been doing everything right and still feel completely wrong, follow me for more and comment ROOT below and I’ll share exactly what finally moved the needle for me. 🤍

... Read moreFor a long time, I believed that if I just ate less, exercised more, and stayed consistent, I would see the results I wanted. But despite following all the 'right' steps, I still felt tired, puffy in the mornings, and carried weight around my face and belly that wouldn’t shift. What frustrated me the most was hearing from doctors that everything looked normal on paper, yet my body clearly felt off. It wasn't until I learned about cortisol imbalance that things started to make sense. Cortisol, often called the stress hormone, plays a crucial role in regulating your body's response to stress, inflammation, and metabolism. When cortisol is chronically elevated, your body stays in survival mode, which means it clings to fat, especially around the midsection, makes it difficult to sleep deeply, and keeps you feeling exhausted no matter how much rest you get. This experience taught me that the usual advice — eat clean, work out regularly, and sleep enough — while important, isn't always enough because it doesn’t address hormonal imbalances like cortisol dysregulation. Inflammation can persist even with a perfect diet, and workouts can feel ineffective when your body is in this state. Addressing cortisol imbalance meant shifting my focus from just diet and exercise to also managing stress levels through mindful practices, improving sleep hygiene, and sometimes working with healthcare professionals to test and support my hormone health. Small daily changes, such as incorporating relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing, or gentle yoga, helped me calm my nervous system. Also, paying attention to blood sugar balance and reducing caffeine and sugar intake made a notable difference. If you recognize this struggle where nothing seems to work despite your hard efforts, it’s crucial to consider cortisol and hormone health as part of your wellness journey. By tackling the root cause instead of just symptoms, you can begin to move the needle on how you feel, your energy levels, and your ability to lose stubborn weight. Remember, your body knows more than any scale or blood test can show. Listening to it and exploring the impact of cortisol can transform your wellness approach for good. #cortisol #hormonehealth #bloating #cortisolimbalance #weightloss

small things that increase feminine energy 💋
Sometimes I struggle with feeling feminine. When I younger I use to think femininity had to do with long hair, soft features, super girly clothes, being flirty & at the time I had none of that. I was a “TomBoy” and when I exited that stage of my life I felt like I was in limbo. But naturally As

My favorite e.l.f. product was discontinued
The e.l.f. glow dewy mist with coconut + argan oil was my ALL TIME FAVORITE facial mist! It helped my skin maintain moisture under my makeup and made my foundation melt into my skin so nicely. I was devastated when I ran out the other day and realized that I couldn’t purchase it anymore. Becaus
