AMEX PLATINUM CARD UPDATE REWARDS AND PERKS $895

🚨 Big Update on the Amex Platinum Card 🚨

The annual fee just jumped from $695 → $895. Yep, that’s +$200. Effective for new accounts now; existing cardmembers see the increase at renewal.

But with that higher price comes a lot more perks. Here’s what you get now (or that got upgraded):

🔥 New & Upgraded Benefits

• Up to $600 in hotel credits each year through Amex Travel.

• $400 dining credit through Resy.

• $300 Lululemon credit annually.

• $200 toward Oura Ring purchases (new wellness perk)

• Up to $300 in streaming/digital entertainment credits (Paramount+, YouTube Premium/TV etc.)

• Plus all the standard high-end perks Amex Platinum is known for — luxury lounge access, travel upgrades, elite hotel status, airport perks, and more.

✅ Who Is This Card For?

Only for people who can actually use the benefits — meaning, those who travel a lot, spend on hotels & flights, dine out often, and take advantage of lifestyle perks.

It’s not just about having “excellent credit” (though you’ll need that too, since Amex expects excellent credit for approval). It’s about making the card worth the cost — if you don’t use those credits, lounges, status, etc., it won’t justify $895/year.
