First time at Universal Fan Fest Nights! I tried two of the Sailor Moon inspired snacks and I was honestly very pleased with them. I just don’t love the price point 😅. #sailormoon #universalfanfest #universalstudios #universalhollywood #thedapperdanielle
Attending Universal Fan Fest Nights for the first time was a memorable experience, especially getting to try themed snacks inspired by Sailor Moon. The event brings a fun mix of pop culture and unique treats to fans, creating a festive atmosphere that’s worth visiting if you’re in Hollywood. The Tuxedo Mask Raspberry Rose Sandwich Cookie stood out to me for its delicate combination of black chocolate cookie and a raspberry almond filling that reminded me distinctly of cherry cordial candy flavors. Seeing the little white mask cookie topping was a charming detail that added to the overall theme. While the cookie was delicious, I noticed it was a bit fragile and prone to falling apart, so I’d recommend eating it carefully. The Moonlight Love Sparkle drink was refreshing and playfully flavored with dragon fruit syrup and mango toppings mixed with Sprite. It was a light, sweet beverage that complemented the cookie well. What made this drink unique were the added jellies and boba pearls, which justified the price in my opinion. However, I felt that the pricing might be a bit high for what you get. Paying $23 for a combo of a cookie and drink felt steep, especially considering the cookie alone was priced at $8.99 and the drink at $12 most of which is cost attributed to the jellies and boba. The bento box option, which is $30, didn’t offer enough additional value for me to justify the upgrade. Overall, I enjoyed the nostalgic appeal and the thoughtful detail in these themed snacks, especially as a fan of Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Moon. If you’re a fan of themed treats and attending Universal Fan Fest Nights, trying these snacks might be a fun addition to your visit. However, it’s good to keep the pricing in mind and perhaps share or split the snacks with friends to get better value. For future visits, I’m curious to explore other snack options, like the Sailor Scout cupcakes priced at $10 each, to see how they compare in terms of taste and value. If you decide to try the Sailor Moon snacks, I recommend enjoying the experience fully and embracing the playful spirit of the event, keeping your expectations about cost realistic.
