journaling prompt:✨revitalized✨
✨prism prompt✨
when was the last time you paused and seriously considered the vibrant masterpiece that God created you to be? if an action like that seems trivial or too basic, think again.
one of the bedrock truths of the gospel is that, through Christ, we are spiritually revitalized to reflect God’s original design. as we grow in our understanding of His nature and will, we learn God is a good Father who purposefully created us to mirror His likeness, carry significance, and impact the world. although daily life and human brokenness can dim our colors and deplete our vitality, the beauty of God's revitalization plan is that He continually works all things for our good—wooing and directing—then restoring and imparting what’s necessary to help bring us back into what was always intended. this is a testament to His unfailing love and commitment to us.
do you have a situation in your life right now that’s looking to sap your strength or deplete your vitality? allow this revelation to wash over you: ‘revitalized’ comes from the words ‘re’, meaning ‘back again’ and ‘vitalize’, which is ‘to give strength and energy’. friend, Jesus has not only given us new life but has brought us ‘back again’ into a living connection with the Father, who’s very nature is to revitalize. through the indwelling of His Spirit, we have continual access to His unending strength and vitality. He is a constant source for all we need.
that being said, take a moment to sit with Jesus. there in His presence, invite Holy Spirit to reveal how God’s revitalization plan is at work in your life. as He unveils truths regarding His unfailing love and commitment to you, allow Him to speak into your areas of exhaustion or depletion—infusing you with strength and vitality where it's most needed. in this place of rest, make a note of isaiah 40:31 and 1 thessalonians 5:23–24. then journal a prayer of thanks to Him as you embrace His promise of continual revitalization.
