We love our home and have already poured so much into it, but if budget wasn’t a factor—here are a few things I’d do 👇
1. Dining area — I’d upgrade our FB Marketplace table (which now has permanent toddler art 😂) for something small, simple, and beautiful. Still compact, but fresh and sturdy.
2. Living room — I dream of swapping our sectional for a sofa + chairs combo and a beautiful coffee table. I’m obsessed with one from Altar’d State Home! But practicality wins for now—anything I bring in has to survive a wild little boy and a shedding dog 😅
3. Kitchen-to-garage door — Eventually we’d love to turn this area into a hallway that leads to our bedroom/bathroom. I think having a bit more separation as Bear grows would be so nice.
4. Closet door — Our single door hides so much of the closet space! I’d love to cut into the wall and install double doors so everything’s visible and usable.
We’re doing this house little by little, with a real-life budget and lots of heart. And honestly? That makes every change feel even more special. ✨
