75 Holy Challenge

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share what I’m embarking on this summer: the 75 Holy Challenge! For anyone looking to deepen their faith, build incredible discipline, and truly walk closer with God, this is it. You might have heard of the '75 Hard' challenge, which is all about mental toughness and physical discipline. Well, the 75 Holy Challenge takes that powerful framework and infuses it with spiritual growth, focusing on glorifying God in every aspect of our lives for 75 consecutive days. I'm personally kicking this off on July 1st, and I can already feel the anticipation building! So, what exactly does this challenge involve? While there isn't one universal 'official' set of rules, the core idea is to commit daily to actions that nurture your spirit, mind, and body, all through a Christian lens. Based on what I've seen and what resonates with me, here’s a breakdown of the daily commitments I'm making for these 75 days, which I believe capture the essence of this holy journey: Daily Devotion & Scripture: Spend at least 15-30 minutes each day reading your Bible, engaging with a devotional, or studying a specific passage. This is about soaking in God's word and allowing it to transform your heart. Intentional Prayer: Dedicate time specifically to prayer. This isn't just a quick 'thank you' at meals, but intentional time in conversation with God, whether it's praise, petition, or simply listening. Physical Activity: Engage in at least 45 minutes of physical activity daily. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and taking care of them honors God. This could be a brisk walk, a home workout, or anything that gets you moving! Healthy Eating: Commit to a healthy eating plan with no cheat meals or alcohol. This discipline helps us gain control over our appetites and make choices that benefit our overall well-being, both physically and mentally. Read a Christian Non-Fiction Book: Dedicate time each day to reading a book that strengthens your faith, offers spiritual wisdom, or helps you grow as a Christian. Daily Gratitude & Reflection: Take time to journal or simply reflect on things you’re grateful for. This practice shifts our perspective and reminds us of God's blessings. Accountability Check-in: Connect with an accountability partner daily. This could be a text, a quick call, or a shared journal entry. Having someone to share your progress and struggles with is invaluable for staying on track. The goal isn't perfection, but consistent effort and intentionality. It's about building habits that will serve us long after the 75 days are over, drawing us closer to Jesus and helping us live a more disciplined, Christ-centered life. I’m really looking forward to seeing how God moves during this time, and I truly believe this challenge will be a game-changer for my spiritual walk.
