Is your airdrop on?

I’m trying to send you pics.

. . .

I wish I was tracking my blood pressure while writing this. Recounting all the events and my personal feelings and thoughts on it all has been a trip down memory lane that felt both incredibly long and way too short at the same time. And sadly, I can’t sit here and detail every single thing that has gone wrong this year to affect our mental health, our energy, our wallets without being all over the place and taking a considerable amount of time to do it.

I’ll just say this: it astonishes me how quickly it can all fall apart, how one man and his administration can tear apart a legacy with malice and signatures.

It begs the question that I’m sure many have either already posed or are starting to wonder about: if this is all it takes, how good was the foundation to begin with?

Stay tuned for more on that next time.

... Read moreReflecting on a difficult period can be both emotionally taxing and enlightening. Many of us have experienced moments when everything seems to unravel unexpectedly, impacting our mental health, energy, and finances. The phrase "Is your airdrop on?" evokes a desire to connect and share, but also highlights the fragility of communication and support during times of stress. In 2025, as rightly noted in the hashtags like #2025recap and #griefandgrace, many are confronting the rapid changes influencing our personal and collective lives. The emotional toll of political and societal shifts can be profound, reminding us that legacies built over decades can be impacted swiftly and profoundly. This raises the important question of how solid our foundations truly are, not just in leadership but within our own lives. Embracing vulnerability (#embracevulnerability) and being part of supportive communities (#writingcommunity) are crucial steps toward healing and growth. Sharing personal experiences about grief, especially during the holidays (#griefduringtheholidays), can offer solace and understanding to others going through similar struggles. During such reflective times, it's valuable to track indicators of well-being, such as blood pressure or mood changes, to gain insight into how these emotional experiences affect our physical health. Music platforms like Spotify and storytelling tools like Substack, mentioned with the photos, serve as modern mediums to connect, share, and process our journeys. Ultimately, sharing our stories and listening to others strengthens our resilience. It encourages us to build firmer foundations, both individually and collectively, ensuring we can withstand future challenges more effectively. Stay tuned for more thoughtful reflections and support as this ongoing conversation unfolds.
