Burnout can be addressed with proper self-care techniques, supervision, and sometimes professional counseling. For patients, please remember that medication management and therapy are complex and must be guided by trained professionals. Never hesitate to ask questions or get second opinions if you feel unsure about the advice you are receiving. Protecting your mental health is a partnership between you and your healthcare team. In summary, recognizing and addressing burnout in mental health professionals is essential for sustainable, effective care.
