Gained 3pb, went on a diet, gained 1 moreā¦
Weight fluctuations like gaining 3 pounds, dieting, and then gaining an extra pound are common experiences many people face when trying to manage their weight. From personal experience, Iāve realized the importance of setting realistic expectations and understanding that weight loss is not always linear. When I first noticed the 3-pound gain, it was discouraging, but I learned to focus on healthy habits rather than the number on the scale alone. Starting a diet helped me regain some control, but the extra pound that followed taught me that occasional slips or plateaus are part of the process. One motivating factor was a phrase I came across in an image that said, āMĆrame a los ojos y promĆ©teme que esta vez harĆ”s bien tu dieta,ā which translates to āLook me in the eyes and promise me you will do your diet well this time.ā This reminded me of the commitment and self-discipline needed to stay on track. My tip is to combine a balanced, sustainable diet with regular physical activity and not to let minor weight gains discourage you. Keeping a food and mood journal also helped me identify triggers that might lead to overeating. Remember, gradual progress over time is more effective and healthier than quick fixes. Every step, including setbacks, contributes to long-term success.
