Somewhere along the way, between building a career, becoming a mom, and just life — I stopped taking care of myself. I stopped moving my body, but then I stopped wanting to go out, and every time I looked at myself in the mirror or camera, I barely recognized who I was.

On June 23, I finally decided to change that. I committed to a workout and macros plan and actually stuck with it.

Four months later, I’m down 40 pounds. But more than that, I feel strong again — mentally and physically. At 38, I feel more confident and capable than I ever did in my 20s.

This isn’t a bounce back. It’s a rebuild. A promise to keep becoming ✨HER✨ again. A reminder that it’s never too late to start showing up for yourself!!!

Huge thank you to my amazing coach @christianborjaaa for helping me stay consistent and focused — teaching me about macros and kicking my ass in the gym!! ❤️❤️

... Read moreChoosing to prioritize yourself over waiting for motivation is a powerful shift that many people struggle to make. Many of us get caught up in the demands of life — careers, family, daily stress — and gradually neglect our own wellbeing. The first step toward transformation is recognizing that you deserve to show up for yourself every day, regardless of external circumstances. Adopting a macros-based nutrition plan can be a game-changer in weight management and body rebuilding. By tracking macronutrients—proteins, fats, and carbohydrates—you not only control calorie intake but also ensure your body receives the fuel it needs for workouts and recovery. This approach fosters sustainable habits rather than quick-fix diets. Incorporating consistent exercise alongside a macro plan builds both physical strength and mental resilience. Physical activity releases endorphins that improve mood and reduce anxiety while increasing energy and confidence. Coupled with a supportive coach or community, accountability becomes easier, and the journey feels less daunting. People often underestimate the significance of mental strength in fitness journeys. Feeling capable mentally leads to better decision-making and persistence through challenges. Age is just a number; many find their peak confidence and performance in their 30s or later by committing to self-care and mindful lifestyle choices. Remember, rebuilding yourself is a process, not a bounce back. It takes patience and kindness toward yourself. Celebrate small victories and recognize that the commitment to become your best self is one of the most rewarding promises you can make. Starting today—stop waiting for motivation and start choosing you.
