A month ago, we had the opportunity to do something small that could change lives in the long run. 🐾
We organized a joint sterilization program with local municipalities at our clinic. In just two days, we saved 40 dogs.
40 lives.
That means reducing births without being ready.
Reduce risk. Reduce pain.
And reduce the cycle of suffering that may occur in the future.
Everything went smoothly.

จากประสบการณ์ที่เคยมีส่วนร่วมในโครงการทำหมันสุนัขพบว่า นอกจากจะช่วยลดจำนวนสุนัขที่เกิดโดยไม่ตั้งใจในชุมชนแล้ว ยังช่วยลดภาวะเครียดและความเจ็บปวดจากภาวะแทรกซ้อนของการตั้งท้องที่ไม่เหมาะสมได้อย่างมาก เมื่อสุนัขได้รับการทำหมันอย่างถูกวิธีและปลอดภัย พวกเขาจะสามารถมีชีวิตที่มีสุขภาพดีขึ้นและมีโอกาสน้อยที่จะเกิดโรคมะเร็งท่อนำไข่หรือมดลูกในตัวเมีย รวมถึงลดพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวหรือการหนีออกจากบ้านในตัวผู้ได้ด้วย ในมุมของชุมชน โครงการลักษณะนี้ยังช่วยลดปัญหาจำนวนสุนัขจรจัดที่มากเกินไป ซึ่งส่งผลต่อสุขอนามัยและความปลอดภัยของผู้คนในพื้นที่ อีกทั้งยังประหยัดทรัพยากรสนับสนุนโดยรวมของเทศบาลและองค์กรช่วยเหลือสัตว์ได้เป็นอย่างดี สิ่งที่สำคัญคือการมีทีมสัตวแพทย์ที่ชำนาญและการวางแผนที่ดี ทำให้การทำหมันในครั้งนี้ผ่านไปอย่างราบรื่นและปลอดภัยสำหรับสุนัขทุกตัว นอกจากนี้การมีการติดตามผลหลังการผ่าตัดก็ช่วยให้สุนัขฟื้นตัวได้เร็วและลดความเสี่ยงจากภาวะแทรกซ้อน สุดท้าย ความร่วมมือระหว่างเทศบาลและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น คลินิกสัตวแพทย์และองค์กรไม่แสวงผลกำไร เป็นหัวใจสำคัญของความสำเร็จโครงการทำหมันลดจำนวนสุนัขจรจัด และนี่คือก้าวเล็กๆ ที่มีความหมายอย่างยิ่งสำหรับชีวิตน้องหมาในชุมชน
