My Eyeshadow Palette Collection - Part 7
My Eyeshadow Palette Collection - Part 7
This is The Delectables Modern Marvels 14 Multi-Finish Baked Eyeshadows from Laura Geller. I got this from Ipsy, and she is VERY loved!! These are not as pigmented as I’d like them to be, but they’re very buildable! And there’s almost no fallout when applying them. These shades are stunning! This comes with 14 shades, 7 mattes and 7 shimmers. I LOVE the shimmers! I don’t think I can pick a favorite, shades Ivory, Champagne, and Rose Gold have to be my favorites! The packaging is also SO pretty! I love the pink flower details. And it has a nice, wide mirror, so I think this would be great to travel with! This palette is warm toned, and I am more neutral-cool but it doesn’t look too warm on me. The dark brown shade though is on the more cooler side and I LOVE a cool toned dark brown. Unfortunately I can’t find this online anywhere, but she has other similar palettes! There are quite a few I have my eye on 👀 Do you have this palette? What do you think of it?

As someone who’s tried a variety of Laura Geller eyeshadow palettes, I can share that the Delectables Modern Marvels palette stands out for its versatile finish options and travel-friendly design. The baked formulation means these shadows tend to have a slightly creamy texture that blends beautifully and can be layered without looking patchy. While the pigmentation might seem subtle at first, this actually allows for effortless build-up and customization of intensity, which is ideal if you prefer a softer or more natural look during the day. One of my favorite things about this palette is the balance between matte and shimmer shades. The mattes like Taupe, Claret, and Chocolate offer great transition and depth options, perfect for creating dimension without harsh lines. The shimmers—especially the Ivory, Golden, and Rose Gold tones—catch light in a way that brightens the eyes and adds a glamorous touch. I also appreciate that the fallout is minimal, so your makeup stays clean and fresh throughout wear. In terms of color suitability, though the palette leans warm with shades such as Beige and Bage, it surprisingly works well on more neutral to cool skin tones thanks to cooler shades like the dark brown Claret. This versatility makes it a valuable addition to my makeup collection. The packaging’s pink floral details add a pretty, feminine aesthetic, and the large mirror within is a huge plus—for on-the-go touch-ups or travel. Although this particular palette can be hard to find online, Laura Geller frequently releases similar multi-finish palettes with equally impressive shade selections. For those considering this palette, I recommend pairing it with a good eyeshadow primer to maximize color payoff and longevity. Also, using fluffy blending brushes helps to melt the shades into the skin seamlessly. Overall, the Delectables Modern Marvels palette is a dependable choice for anyone who loves warm, shimmery eyeshadows with excellent buildability and minimal fallout.
