My Eyeshadow Palette Collection- Part 8
My Eyeshadow Palette Collection- Part 8
This is the Morphe X Meredith Duxbury 35 Pan Artistry Palette. This is by far the most pigmented eyeshadow palette I own! Meredith’s whole collection is so beautiful, but I’m completely obsessed with this palette! I got this at Ulta when it first came out. This has 35 shades, 30 mattes, and only 5 shimmers. I do wish there were more shimmer shades. I don’t hardly ever reach for this because I don’t do bold, colorful eyeshadow but after seeing this again I think I might start playing with it more! And there’s a few pink and lilac shades that honestly could double as blushes! As Meredith is from New York, all the names of the shades are all New York inspired, and they’re all so cute!! I don’t think I can pick a favorite shade, they’re all so beautiful! Like all Morphe palettes there is quite a bit of fallout, but I don’t mind it. That just proves that I’m actually picking up product. They blend out so beautifully! And of course the note from Meredith herself is the cherry on top! I also love that this comes with a mirror (as all palettes should in my opinion). Were you able to get your hands on this when it was for sale? What do you think of this palette?

The Morphe X Meredith Duxbury palette stands out not just for its pigmentation but also for the thoughtful inspiration behind each shade name, all evoking iconic elements of New York City life—from "Empire State" to "Concrete Jungle" and "Central Park." This artistic nod creates a deeper connection to the palette, making the application feel more experiential and personal. In my own use, I've found that the mattes perform exceptionally well as base and transition colors. They apply smoothly with minimal patchiness and are very blendable, which helps create seamless eye looks whether you're going for a natural daytime style or something more dramatic. While the shimmer count is limited to five shades, those shimmers are vibrant and can be layered over mattes to add a pop of texture and light. For users who prefer a bolder eye look, integrating these shimmers can elevate the overall effect without overwhelming the eyes. An interesting tip is using some of the pink and lilac matte shades as blush alternatives. I experimented with "Bisou Bisou" and "Limoncello" on my cheeks, which gave a soft, flushed appearance that beautifully complements eye makeup. This versatility adds value, especially when traveling or packing light. Regarding fallout, while Morphe palettes often have a bit of powder drop during application, a good eye primer and careful tapping off of excess product can minimize mess. Personally, I don't mind this slight downside because the payoff is well worth it—the shades remain vibrant and true to pan color. One of the charming features of this palette is the inclusion of a large mirror, which is incredibly convenient for on-the-go touch-ups or when traveling. This small but thoughtful detail enhances usability, making it a better choice compared to palettes lacking mirrors. If you’re a fan of eyeshadow collections, especially those with creative inspirations and quality formulas, I highly recommend revisiting this palette even if you tend to avoid bold colors. Playing with the range of shades can refresh your makeup routine, and the urban-inspired names add a stylish story to each look. Have you tried this palette before? What’s your favorite shade or combination? Feel free to share your experience!
