Attending FAN EXPO CANADA and surprising the Baldur’s Gate 3 cast members with our handmade RPG class cardigans was an emotional and inspiring moment for me. The actors, including Neil Newbon who plays Astarion, were incredibly warm and appreciative. Neil even asked for a hug and wore the assassin-themed cardigan for photos, making the experience even more special. One of the highlights was observing the genuine joy and laughter when I presented the cardigans at the signing panel. The actors and their assistants took the time to engage with me, sharing feedback and enjoying the modernized cloak designs we created to match their characters. Dave, despite being the last autograph of the day, dedicated time for a personal touch that meant a lot. This connection with the BG3 team has deepened my love for tabletop RPGs and digital storytelling alike. It’s amazing how a small gesture like gifting cardigans can create such meaningful bonds within the gaming community. Seeing my dream realized has pushed me to continue merging cosplay-inspired fashion with game fandom, and I’m excited for future opportunities to support and celebrate the games I cherish.
