I've often used alt accounts or just stealthily watched from a distance for days before making my move, sometimes even camping out nearby to observe their routines. When it comes to resource gathering for a raid, don't underestimate the grind. You'll need plenty of gunpowder for TNT, sand/gravel for TNT dupers, and a top-tier Diamond Pickaxe (preferably with Efficiency V and Unbreaking III, as mentioned in the OCR!) for any obsidian or reinforced blocks. Having ample wood, stone, even some Netherrack for fire traps, and of course, a stack of Firework Rockets for quick elytra maneuvers is crucial. Don't forget basic building blocks and even some Sticks for crafting emergency tools or small setups. For breaching defenses, you need a tailored plan. For strong blocks like obsidian, that Diamond Pickaxe is non-negotiable. If they've got water defenses, bringing sponges can clear paths quickly. For walls, TNT is your main weapon. But consider advanced tactics! I've had great success with TNT dupers, often incorporating Piston and Block of Redstone setups to create a continuous, resource-efficient stream of destruction. You can even guide these dupers using Detector Rail and minecarts for precise targeting on certain base designs, like sky bases or deeply buried bunkers. This saves tons of gunpowder in the long run! Don't forget about fire as a weapon! If a base is made of flammable materials, a little bit of strategically placed Netherrack and a flint and steel can cause absolute chaos, especially if you can get it inside unnoticed. It's a classic for a reason, and incredibly effective for demoralizing opponents. Always carry some Firework Rockets if you have an elytra. They're not just for speeding up travel; they can be absolutely crucial for quick escapes, repositioning during a raid, or even chasing down fleeing enemies if you're under fire. Finally, after you've destroyed their base and secured their loot, what's next? Don't just leave! Consider leaving a memorable message or setting up a small, annoying trap. Maybe a small obsidian box with some Netherrack inside to endlessly burn, or a hidden Sticky Piston trap that pushes them into lava when they try to rebuild. These little touches really add to the "divine intervention" feeling and let them know who they're dealing with.
