Would you be mad or am I overreacting?

Would you be mad, or am I overreacting?

Last weekend, my friend invited me to go shopping with her because she said she didn’t want to go alone. I was excited, so I spent almost an hour getting ready. I even canceled other plans because she told me it was just going to be the two of us.

When I got to the mall, I noticed she was already there with three other people. She never told me anyone else was coming.

At first, I didn’t really care, but the entire time they kept walking ahead of me, talking to each other, and leaving me behind. Every time I tried to join the conversation, it got awkward or someone interrupted me.

Then they all decided to go get food without even asking if I wanted anything. I had to sit by myself while they laughed and took pictures together.

Later, I found out they had made a group chat the night before to plan everything, and I wasn’t even in it.

When I told my friend my feelings were hurt, she said I was “too sensitive” and that not everything had to be about me. She also said I should’ve just spoken up if I felt left out.

Now she’s telling people I ruined the day because I got upset over “nothing.”

So… would you be mad, or am I overreacting? Be honest. 👀👇

🚨This is a made up story🚨

7/5 Edited to

... Read moreI’ve been in situations where friends made last-minute changes to plans or brought others along without telling me, and it really hurt my feelings. It’s tough because you prepare for quality time with a particular friend, and when that changes, it feels like your presence isn’t valued. In my experience, feeling excluded can make you question the friendship itself. Sometimes people think you’re overreacting or being too sensitive, but those feelings are valid. It’s important to communicate how you feel clearly and calmly, though that doesn’t always guarantee understanding or an apology. One thing I learned is to take care of my emotional boundaries and decide if this is a one-time mistake or a pattern. If it keeps happening, it may be a sign to rethink the friendship. Also, when plans change, try to ask for clarification to avoid assumptions. And if you feel left out at the moment, it’s okay to express it politely instead of staying silent. Overall, friendships should be about respect and mutual care. When those values are missing, it’s natural to feel hurt or angry. I always find it helpful to share these experiences with others because it reminds me that I’m not alone in feeling this way and that setting boundaries is healthy.

It’s the double standards for me. When he talks to a girl, it’s “just friendship.” When I talk to a guy, it’s “disrespectful.” I remember sitting there, realizing how often women are told to “understand” and “not overthink.” But when roles reverse, we suddenly become the problem. I’m not sayin

Hip stiffness when sitting or squatting?
It may be a hip mobility issue not just “tight muscles.” If you sit during your commute or workday and then try to train later, you might notice hip pinching when sitting in a low chair or dropping into a deep squat. This is common for active adults in their late 30s and 40s. The issue oft
