It’s officially been ONE FULL YEAR!

Reflecting on the first anniversary of our daycare’s opening, it’s inspiring to see the tangible difference a community-focused childcare service can make. Over the past year, serving more than 100 families has not only been about providing a safe space for children but also about alleviating the pressures that parents face. Childcare costs can be a significant financial burden, and offering over $6,000 in free services has undoubtedly eased stress for many families. In addition to childcare, supplying necessities such as diapers, wipes, formula, and groceries totaling over $2,000 has addressed basic but critical needs for families facing tough times. It’s heartwarming to witness how these contributions have supported wellbeing and stability at home. Moreover, our efforts to connect over 20 women to local outreach programs highlight the importance of offering holistic support that extends beyond childcare. These resources empower women with education, job training, and health services which can transform lives and foster long-term resilience. Running this daycare has been a labor of love fueled by community support. The milestone celebrations remind us of the crucial role that collective effort plays in building stronger neighborhoods.
