Helpful study habits for college finals!!!!

Studying for finals can be a stressful time! These are some things I found that work very well for me. I hope they work for you too 😊.

Use a planner - I got a lil cutie one from TJ MAXX.

Do 30 mins uninterrupted then take a 5 min break.

Utilize your resources - Quizlet!!!! It has saved me in college.

Reviewing old test and assignments will help solving similar problems on the new test.

Make sure you’re making a schedule/ check list for what you have to do in each class, how to study, and how much time you want to dedicate to studying.

Make sure you get plenty of sleep and eat healthy so you feel good inside and out!

Remember not to stress it’s just a test!

... Read moreStudying for finals can be overwhelming, but adopting the right strategies can ease the pressure. Here are some recommended habits to enhance your studying experience: 1. **Utilize a Planner:** Keeping track of your study schedule ensures you allocate enough time for each subject. You can find stylish planners in stores like TJ MAXX that motivate you to stay organized. 2. **Structured Study Sessions:** Implement the Pomodoro technique by studying for 30 minutes and then taking a 5-minute break. After every hour, consider taking a short walk to refresh your mind. 3. **Leverage Study Resources:** Platforms like Quizlet or flashcards are excellent for quizzing yourself on material and reinforcing your knowledge through active recall. 4. **Review Old Material:** Go over previous tests and assignments to identify common questions and topics that may reappear in your finals. 5. **Maintain Healthy Habits:** Prioritize sleep, aiming for 7-9 hours before the test, and fuel your brain with nutritious snacks like nuts and fruits. 6. **Plan ahead:** Outline what subjects and materials need to be covered leading up to each exam, which helps in staying on top of deadlines and reduces last-minute stress. By incorporating these habits into your routine, you can enhance your study effectiveness and approach your finals with confidence. Remember, mental health is crucial too—don’t forget to take breaks and care for yourself throughout this busy season!
